Here's everything you need to know before you order.

At a glance

• Minimum order: 6 units per order
• Production time: 1–3 weeks for most orders, starting once your invoice is paid in full
• Artwork: Your logo or message saved as a black & white vector file (.AI, .EPS, or .SVG), at least 1000 x 1000 px at 72 dpi
• Shipping: 3-5 business days in the continental US, shipped from our headquarters in Arizona

How it works

1. Request a quote. Fill out our custom engraving form. We'll follow up with you via email providing additional details about our custom engraving program and ask a few follow-up questions about your project.
2. Send your artwork. Reply to our email and send us your logo or message as a black & white vector file (see the artwork requirements below).
3. Review your rendering. Within 2 business days, we'll send you a rendering showing how your logo will look on our elevated items along with an initial quote for the project.
4. Approve and pay. Once you approve the rendering and quote, we’ll confirm the details of the order and collect a few extra pieces of information from you. Our Accounting Team will calculate shipping costs and send your invoice via email within 2 business days.
5. We engrave and ship. Production begins once your invoice is paid in full and is completed as soon as possible depending on order volume and inventory location. Once the engraving has been completed, our team will box up and ship out your order. Shipping to an address within the continental United States typically takes between 3-5 business days, depending on your location.

Set-up fees and pricing

Every custom order has a $25 set-up fee and an engraving fee of $10 per item. Depending on the complexity of your request, additional fees may apply.

We offer a 20% discount from the retail price of the product for custom orders of our Original Hybrid Cocktail Shaker and Hybrid (Pint & Rocks) Glasses.

The price per unit of our custom engraved products is:

• Original Hybrid Cocktail Shaker: $60 + engraving fee
• Hybrid Rocks or Pint Glass: $44 + engraving fee

Shipping: Shipping costs are calculated by our Accounting Team and included on your invoice. Prefer to use your own shipping account? Just let us know.

Artwork requirements

For the best quality rendering and final engraving, send your logo or message as a black & white vector file:

• File type: .AI, .EPS, or .SVG
• Minimum size: 1000 x 1000 px at 72 dpi

Finishes and engraving color

How laser engraving works

We use a laser to etch your design into the surface of each item. No ink or paint is added. How the engraving looks depends on the finish:

• Gunmetal Black and Brushed Copper have a thin PVD coating, a durable colored layer bonded to the steel. The laser removes that coating where your design goes, so your engraving shows up in the silver of the stainless steel underneath.
• Stainless Steel has no coating. The laser marks the steel surface directly, which creates a darker, tone-on-tone engraving.

What this means for your design

• We don't offer color-fill or full-color printing. Your engraving will always be the natural color of the metal.
• Your design is engraved in a single tone. Gradients and shading don't carry over, which is why we ask for black-and-white artwork.
• Contrast varies by finish. Gunmetal Black gives the boldest contrast. Stainless Steel gives the most subtle look. You can compare all three finishes in the photo below.

Pricing

All finishes are the same price. If your order mixes items in different finishes, an additional fee may apply. Your Custom Engraving Representative will confirm this in your quote.

Production timeline

Most custom orders are produced and shipped within 1–3 weeks from when your invoice is paid in full. Production may take longer during peak seasons, such as the holidays.

Packaging and shipping

• Each item ships in its standard Elevated Craft retail packaging.
• Items are packed together inside larger boxes to cut down on the number of packages shipped.
• Custom or branded packaging isn't available at this time.
• Most orders ship via FedEx Ground from our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. While not guaranteed, orders shipping to an address within the continental US typically arrive within 3-5 business days.

Returns, issues, and damage

• Custom engraved items are final sale and aren't eligible for returns or exchanges.
• Please review your rendering carefully. We aren't able to make changes once production begins.
• If there's a problem with your order, please contact us within 3 business days of receipt.

Good to know

• Need fewer than 6 items? For smaller orders, we suggest a local trophy shop or engraving provider.
• Already own an Elevated Craft product? We can't engrave items from orders that have already been processed.
