The built-in measuring features on the Hybrid Cocktail Glass have been calibrated to work best when you are looking into the cup at roughly a 45 degree angle. The reason the numbers are different from the outside vs the 45 degree angle is due to the measuring lines being refracted through the glass. This is why the 45 degree viewing angle is the standard that we calibrated the measurements to.
