How can I return a gift?Updated 14 minutes ago
If you received a gift that you'd like to return for a different item, you can do so here. (Don't worry, in most situations we won't tell the original purchaser!)
When you get to the page, follow the steps applicable to your situation:
If you have the original order information:
- Head to our Return Portal here.
- Select the "return a gift" button.
- Enter the original order number and shipping ZIP code.
- Click the "get started" button.
- Fill out the required information then click "continue".
- Select the item(s) you wish to return.
- For "Why are you returning this item?" select "The item was purchased as a gift..." and then select the option that best describes your situation.
- Choose the item(s) you wish to receive in return.
- Once all items for return have been selected, scroll down and click "Continue with return".
- Review your return and click the box acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree to the return policy conditions then click "Submit return".
- Select how you would like your return label generated & then drop package off at your closest USPS location. We'll process the exchange request within five (5) business days of the original item(s) having been returned to us.
If you do not have the original order information:
Don't have the original order information handy? Don't worry, just follow these steps:
- Head to our Return Portal here.
- Select the "return a gift" button so you can fill out the form without the original purchaser being notified.
- Select "Don't have your order information?".
- Fill out the form in full and then click on "Continue". Once submitted, our team will be in touch with you via email (usually within 2 business days) for next steps.

A Few Extra Things To Know
- Exchanging for Item(s) of Lesser Value: If the item(s) you are requesting in exchange are less cost than the item(s) in the original order, the difference in price will be refunded to the purchaser's original form of payment (so, you know, make sure you have a conversation with them in advance if you want to avoid a potentially awkward situation!).
- Exchanging for Item(s) of Greater Value: If the item(s) you are requesting in exchange are greater than the cost of the original order, we will reach out to you (via email) when your return has been received & inspected and send you an invoice to complete that covers the difference in price.
- Returning for a Refund: If you return gift item(s) for a refund, we can only issue the refund back to the purchaser's original form of payment - we cannot issue the refund to you (so you're better off selecting a different item or two so the purchaser doesn't know you returned your gift!).
- Store Credit: At this time, we do not offer store credit for future purchases.
- Non-Elevated Craft Items: Be sure to only send Elevated Craft Products - we are not responsible for returning any item(s) sent in error back to you, and any non-Elevated Craft items will be disposed of.
- Pack Your Return Carefully: Please be sure you securely pack every item being returned. Items damaged in return transit are not eligible for exchange or refund. Please use original shipment packaging if available.
- Ineligible Items: Custom engraved orders & warranty claim orders are not eligible for returns or refunds.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are nonrefundable.
- Drop-Off Receipts: We recommend keeping your drop-off receipt for peace of mind. If there is any issue with your return label or shipping, our team will work with you to sort things out.
- Verified Elevated Craft Orders: All returns must be for verified ElevatedCraft.com orders. If you purchased any of our items through a different source, please contact them directly.
